Toner recycling scheme really takes off
eReco's toner bottle and print consumable recycling scheme has now been running successfully for well over a year. Originally developed in line with the requirements of its first client, Canon, to provide a complete service solution to it and its customers, eReco is now the preferred recycling partner to Konica Minolta, IKON and Ricoh. The Company is also in discussion with other manufacturers who are keen to roll out the service too. More updates soon.
EA continues its approval of eReco
eReco became one of the first recycling companies in the UK to be awarded the coveted new AATF (Approved Authorised Treatment Facility) by the Environment Agency in July 2007. In the second round of approvals implemented in January 2008, the EA demanded recyclers' show improvements and constant review of their processes - eReco constantly reviews its own processes and those of downstream suppliers and so, once again were given the rubber stamp of approval by the EA. This puts us among a small, select group of companies and our clients rest assured that they are in safe hands with us.
Director Magazine - eReco profile
The highly respected DIRECTOR magazine, published by the IoD, recently featured eReco in its Technology section. The piece, entitled 'Putting the spark back into your PC' was written by top journalist, Jessica Twentyman, who interviewed eReco's Jane Taylor. The article included information on eReco's environmental and operational policies together with information on how you can recoup residual value from your redundant assets. eReco has strict environmental policies regarding resale of equipment to third world countries and will not, itself, sell to those areas. However, where high environmental compliance can be demonstrated, eReco is always willing to consider the alternatives.
eReco joins CBI
